Dissolve low-sodium doenjang in 300cc of water, soak the dried shrimp for about 30 minutes, then simmer briefly.

Strain the doenjang-shrimp water through a sieve.

Blanch the mallow in hot water and cut into bite-sized pieces.

Add rice and the doenjang water to a pot and bring to a boil.

Once boiling, add the cocktail shrimp and the strained dried shrimp.
